Welcome to an unforgettable adventure through the majestic lands of Skardu, Hunza, and Fairy Meadows! Over the next 11 days, we’ll journey deep into the heart of the Karakoram, where breathtaking landscapes, ancient cultures, and thrilling experiences await.

Our journey begins with a scenic drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway, surrounded by towering peaks and flowing rivers. As we make our way to Fairy Meadows, get ready for an exciting jeep ride through rugged mountain trails. Then, a short hike will take us to a place straight out of a dream—Fairy Meadows, where the mighty Nanga Parbat (8,126m) stands tall before us. Imagine waking up to golden sunlight hitting its snowy peak!

From there, we continue to Skardu, a land of crystal-clear lakes and historic forts. We’ll visit the beautiful Shangrila Resort, take a boat ride on Upper Kachura Lake, and explore the ancient Shigar Fort, where time seems to stand still. 

Next, we travel to the Hunza Valley, where the air is filled with the scent of apricot blossoms and the people welcome you like family. We’ll explore the centuries-old Baltit and Altit Forts, stand above the clouds at Eagle’s Nest, and admire the famous Passu Cones, sharp, jagged peaks that look like something from another world. A stop at Attabad Lake gives us a chance to enjoy its unreal turquoise waters, perfect for a peaceful boat ride.

Throughout this journey, you’ll meet incredible people, hear fascinating stories, and experience the untouched beauty of northern Pakistan. So, pack your bags, bring your sense of adventure, and get ready for an experience you’ll never forget.

Itinerary

Day 1Pakistan Arrival Day

• Pickup from the airport & drive to the hotel If time allows us, we will visit the twin
cities of Pakistan Islamabad & Rawalpindi.

Day 2 Islamabad to Skardu.

• Breakfast & drive to Islamabad International Airport.
• 45 Minutes scenic flight to Skardu,
• Arrive at Skardu breakfast & visit Upper and lower Kachura.
• Lunch & visit Katpana Desert.
• Dinner & night stay.

Day 3Marsur Rock view Point.

• Breakfast & drive to Hussain Abad. 3 hrs trek to Marsur Rock View point.
• Trek back to Skardu lunch & visit Manthal Buddha & Sadpara Lake.
• Drive to Hotel dinner & night stay.

Day 4 Kharpocho Fort Blind Lake & Sarfaranga Cold Desert.

• Breakfast & soft trek to Kharpocho fort. Visit the Fort & trek back to the roadside.
• Drive to Sarfaranga Desert. Visit the cold desert & drive to Shigar lunch at Shigar
valley.
• Drive to Blind Lake. Visit the lake & drive back to Skardu for dinner & night stay

Day 5Skardu to Hunza Valley

• Breakfast and drive to Hunza via Skardu Jaglot road.
• Drive to Hunza Valley. On the way we will stop at Worlds 3 mountain ranges
Karakorum, Himalaya & Hindukush.
• Lunch at Gilgit. Drive to Hunza valley stop at Old Silk Road viewpoint & at
Rakaposhi viewpoint.
• Arrive at Hunza valley for dinner & night stay.

Day 6Hunza Valley Excursion.

• Breakfast & soft hike to the 700 years old Baltit Fort. Guided tour of the fort & we
drive to another 1000 years old fort Altit Fort. Guided tour of the fort & we toke a
lunch break at Khabasi café which run by only female. Drive to Duiker for bird eye
view of Hunza & Nagar Valley, Golden Peak, and Rusk Lake & Rakaposhi view.
After Sunset we will drive back to the hotel for dinner & night stay.
• Dinner & night stay.

Day 7Gojal Valley Excursion

• Breakfast & drive to Gojal valley. Boating in in the heart of Karakorum at Attabad
Lake. Drive to Gulmit visit the Women carpet center, if someone want to buy some
handmade rugs they can buy from here.
• Lunch and drive to Hussaini suspension bridge visit the hanging bridge.
• Drive to Borith Lake visit the lake & drive back to Gilgit.
• Arrive at Gilgit for dinner & night stay

Day 8Gilgit to Fairy Meadows

• Breakfast and drive to Raikot bridge. Arrive at Bridge. Board in the jeeps and drive
to Tatto valley. Arrive at Tatto valley. Trek to Fairy Meadows. If some people want
to ride a horse to Fairy Meadows are available on the spot.
• Arrive at Fairy Meadows for lunch, After lunch roam around.
• Dinner with the best view of Nanga Parbat 8126m the world’s 9th highest peak.

Day 9Nanga Parbat Base Camp/Bayal Base camp

• Breakfast & trek to Nanga Parbat base camp. We will see the snow condition. In
case of heavy snow on the trail we will return from Bayal camp.
• Trek back to Fairy Meadows for lunch. After lunch walk around.
• Dinner & night stay

Day 10Fairy Meadows to Naran

• Breakfast & trek back to Tatto valley. Board in the jeeps drive back to Raikot.
• Drive to Naran, Lunch en route.
• Arrive at Naran via Babusar Pass and Lulusar Lake. Dinner & night stay.

Day 11Naran to Islamabad & Departure

• Breakfast & drive to Islamabad.
• Lunch en route.
• Arrive at Islamabad drop to the airport as per flight time.
• Fly back to Bangkok.

Do I Need a Visa to Travel to Pakistan?

  3. December–February: Winter months with pleasant daytime temperatures around 20°C (68°F) and colder nights, especially in the northern mountains where it snows.

  4. March–May: Hot and dry season with temperatures in the mid-30s°C (95°F) in low-lying areas, getting hotter towards the north.
