Detail

Jeep Safari Through Baltistan & Hunza Gojal, Pakistan

Experience the majesty of two of the world’s highest mountain ranges—the Karakoram and the Himalayas—on this unforgettable jeep safari. Using soft-top 4×4 jeeps, we explore the remote valleys, winding mountain roads, and hidden trails that are often inaccessible by regular vehicles. At times, we leave the jeeps behind to trek short stretches, letting you feel the sheer grandeur of these towering peaks up close.

Our journey begins in the Naran Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys of the Lower Himalayas. Here, we explore the lush green plateaus of Shogran and the enchanting Lake Saiful Maluk, often called the “Lake of Fairies” for its magical beauty. Crossing the historic Babusar Pass, we enter the Karakoram at Chilas, witnessing dramatic landscapes along the way.

Next, we reach Skardu, the gateway to the mighty Karakoram, where turquoise lakes, high-altitude villages, and Tibetan-style settlements await. Highlights include Shangri-La Resort, Satpara Lake, and visits to ancient villages that showcase the unique local culture and lifestyle.

From Skardu, we drive to Hunza, a region steeped in history and renowned for its stunning landscapes. An excursion to Upper Hunza includes a visit to Khunjerab Pass—the highest paved border crossing in the world, marking the frontier between Pakistan and China.

The journey concludes with a scenic drive back to Islamabad, leaving you with memories of breathtaking valleys, towering peaks, and the warm hospitality of the northern mountain communities. This jeep safari is more than a tour—it’s an immersive adventure through the heart of Pakistan’s most majestic landscapes.
